Downsizing Cost
When you are first pierced, we install a longer post/barbell (larger diameter for piercings done with rings) to allow space for swelling. As the swelling subsides you’ll notice more of the bar showing, and may experience it catching on things. The movement and catching can cause irritation, and may even shift the angle of your piercing over time. During your initial appointment and in your aftercare email you’ll be given a time frame in which we recommend you downsize your piercing; if you believe you may need a downsize sooner let us know!
